TCU doesn’t have to jump anyone. Someone had to jump them.
Uh....that's what my post said.
TCU doesn’t have to jump anyone. Someone had to jump them.
Different staff, though. I think these guys overcome that challenge.
Not a great situation, but maybe a chance to exorcise one more old "We Are Iowa State" demon.
Way more TCU fans will be at cotton bowl than Miami fans. Don’t see how cotton takes Miami over them. You don’t think tcu should drop for getting housed by OU but Miami should drop 6 spots for losing to Clemson?
Cotton Bowl will essentially be choosing between TCU and Washington. Washington has only one real win.
FWIW, both SI and CBS are doing real time bowl projection updates, both have TCU in the Cotton and ISU/Notre Dame in the Camping World after the results of the Big 12 title game.
I think that was if TCU didn’t get a NY6 bowl.Hasn't it already been said that Camping World Bowl will take Texas if they get Notre Dame? I'm just saying I've given up on any bowl projection sites, especially SI and CBS.
That is the belief. Pollard has publicly said Camping World would take Texas if the ACC's spot was filled with ND for better TV ratings. Pollard must have been hinted by the bowl that this would be the case.Hasn't it already been said that Camping World Bowl will take Texas if they get Notre Dame? If they do, Alamo takes OSU, Texas takes Texas, and Camping takes ISU.
If TCU doesn’t get NY6, then bump every team down a notch and ISU goes to Liberty.
At least thats the way I understand it.
Miami is playing themselves out of NY6 bowl. If cotton bowl had to chose between tcu and Miami. Easy choice
Ahh nevermind. I thought Texas chose before Camping. Pardon me folks, I am completely lost with this bowl jargon.Camping chooses before Texas Bowl which choose before Liberty. TCU is still the big wildcard here.
I think most Cyclone fans would rather see us play Notre Dame in the Camping World Bowl than Memphis on their own home field in the Liberty Bowl.FWIW, both SI and CBS are doing real time bowl projection updates, both have TCU in the Cotton and ISU/Notre Dame in the Camping World after the results of the Big 12 title game.
