So that makes it ok to steal the crap. Nice try.

What are you talking about? You do realize this guy was not affiliated with the Iowa football team and therefore ISU and the security personnel they hire have the responsibility to not allow him anywhere near those locker rooms, right?

I'm gonna go steal a TV from Best Buy. It's not my fault, it's Best Buy's fault.

Clark this is a pretty lame attempt to get permabanned.

please. If you get butthurt from that post then you shouldn't be anywhere near a message board. A couple people took it for the joke that it was and brought some smack talk back. It's all in good fun.

Is this guy getting a free pass from law enforcement that I'm not aware of?

If Best buy put some of their items in another store and that store was robbed due to incompetence, are they not entitled to seek repayment for those items from the other store?

So just because the so called lack of security makes it Iowa States fault that this idiot stole Iowas stuff. And why is it securities fault when Iowas staff didn't lock there own room?

Do we know that for sure? Not to doubt anyone, but the only place I have seen that was on here I think. Was that ever reported in the paper or anything? I mean if Iowa forgot to lock their own locker room, then why would they write to other teams telling them to be careful in Ames? They should have written to not be stupid like they had been.

It was reported by our staff on a call in show. It was some time after the event when they story had died down some, so I'm sure it was missed by many, but there was a question about the incident and it was stated that the event was still under investigation, but that Iowa had admitted to "forgetting" to lock the door.

Because he shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near those doors to see if they were locked or not. What's the point of having security there at all if the only thing stopping someone is a lock on the door?

Cops can't stop me, I'm already in Canada because I flee the country when I commit small theft.

Oooh, 10 year old burn! Pierre Pierce.

Ah yes, the era where stealing a phone was somehow worse than harboring a serial rapist.

A security company Iowa often uses, didn't keep an Iowa student from walking into a door Iowa's staff left open. THANKS ISU!

You are really stretching now aren't you. So like its been asked before, if I leave my house unlocked is it still ok to take my belongings?

You are trolling. The only contribution you have made in this thread is sporting an avatar of Katniss Everdeen.

Re: Cy-Hawk locker room theif was former Iowa student with no connection to ISU

The whole thing has been asinine from the beginning. ISU hired a reputable security company, an error was made, and ISU offered compensation for the error. Can you do any better? No matter who you go with you cant help that that company might have an employee make an error.

The only thing hawks really had was the assumption that it was a cyclone fan committing the actual crime, but ow that we know it was a hawk it makes them look doubly dumb.

Hawk fans are too dumb to understand this. Then again, most of their fan base didn't even go to school so I'll let it slide.

Went to high school with this guy. I have to say that this kind of shocks me. He was a pretty nerdy, academic guy who was pretty well liked. Always thought he would end up as a lawyer. Right now, he kind of needs one of them...

That's all fine and good but the security still failed. It says he attended as a fan so a fan got into the locker rooms which should never happen.
Don't jump the gun, there is some more rather juicy details to come.

Now, someone draft an email to all B1G ADs, cautioning them about U of I fans visiting....and send it...of course, 'cc' Barta/Pollard for good measure.

Another thing I'd point out, all the HOK fans made it out like JP and our dept were some armature hour hiring CSC security...look at their client list.

I did some legwork. Lets make this email happen. Not all are AD's but are relavant people listed on teams Athletic Information pages.
