This happened to the group i was with tonight. We got there late because of classes so we were in the upper bowl. Four of us were standing up and some random guy decides to throw marinara sauce at us because were the only ones standing up. we kept standing after it was thrown. D-bags like this shouldn't even be allowed in Hilton.

How so? I'm just pointing out the correlation between Cyclone Alley's inception and the death of Hilton Magic. The way it was prior to 2002 is the way it should be. Before CA and before you had assigned seating for the Kansas and Iowa games when the studen section had seats in the parquet. For the 2001 Kansas game we waited out is subzero temps for hours drinking to stay warm and then made a mad dash for seats when the doors opened, nearly 2 hours prior to tip. That was a phenominal atmosphere and the way things should be.

+1... I'm proud to have been a part of that. We got there at 5 am and stood around on the steps of Hilton until the hilton officials got worried we were all going to get frostbite and let us in an hour early. I fondly remember frozen gallon jugs of orange juice, milk and coffee... Oh, and don't forget the frozen donuts (yes, donuts freeze) that people converted to frisbees! I sat at half court, 2nd row up in the parquet section after a mad dash into Hilton and down the to the seats. Awesome.

Thank you Cyclone Alley for being so empty the last few games that they are letting anyone sit down low in it.
