I think Diante showed a lot of improvement both from last year and this year as conference play went on. This year his A/T and shooting stats came around and I liked his aggression. My
biggest problem wasn't anything captured by stats--the missed opportunities. In my opinion he's a great basketball player even a solid ball handler, but
not necessarily a great point guard. He seemed to spend too much time dribbling with his back to the basket and didn't hit the open man down low with a crisp pass until it was too late and the help defense was there. I never thought Colvin was as great as some said, but I will say some of his TO's seemed to be the result of his teammates not being used to getting the ball so they didn't expect the pass. Maybe it was the system, but I just didn't see the ability to create out of DG that a point guard should have.
