And I am still perplexed as to how adding a 6'4" G/F in Burton solves ISU's depth problems. There just aren't going to be a lot of scenarios where he is going to allow McKay, Morris and Niang to not have to play 35+ minutes a game against the half dozen Big 12 teams that will be headed to the tourney. That's a lot of mileage those guys are going to have to put on the tires and thus, a lot of risk for injuries.
No doubt that KU's second squad is better/deeper than ours. But I like our starting 5 better. Fortunately it's a 5 on 5 game.
KU is probably built better for winning the league (18 game series). But we're built fine to hold our own against KU head to head, and I don't know that depth will factor that much into the NCAA tourney.
Diallo could be a game changer though.
