I have him going to New Orleans late 1st round but I could see Chicago possibly taking him in the middle of the 1st. He's getting a ton of hype as the #3 QB in the draft so I can see why he would shut down his college career now. There won't be a whole lot of QB talent beyond him and really there are only a couple teams that need a QB upgrade. Hell, I think Jacksonville will roll with Minshew unless they can get Lawrence or Fields.
Why would you risk getting injured for more game tape when you are going to be a middle of the first round draft choice? That seems insane to me.
Josh Johnson had a great game against #19 SMU today in an upset win by Tulsa. 8 catches for 101 yards and 2 TDs.
I will cut him some slack. UCF is a pretty tough first game to start. Plus they got behind right away (mostly his fault though) and that took a lot of the danger of his running away.
Mitchell looked awful throwing the ball. I would be surprised if he stays at QB for the rest of his career.
I see his name come up a lot when catching a highlight of Tulsa games or landing on their game for a few minutes while flipping channels. I think a good one got away in his case. He would be much appreciated on this team

I hope so. Da Bears are great at busts with QB’s they invest their first rounder on, and a one season FCS QB is a perfect candidate to continue that streak.
My memory lacks here too. He was from the south, so my best guess is homesickness?
