I think at the time he left, names like Milton, Scates, Shaw, Akers were ahead of him...Hard to know how much would of changed for him.
That's too bad. He would've been really helpful this season and next. Hindsight 20/20.
Johnson's brother played at Tulsa so I'm sure that played into it as well.
Kam White was never officially a Cyclone, but he is now at Austin Peay University and goes by the name Kam Ruffin.
Josh Johnson (Tulsa) has 37 catches for 495 yards and 6 TDs this season.

Zeb just barely lost out on the starting job to Trey Lance in 2019. He has now been named starter and captain. This will be his first run as the full-time starter in 6 years (with 1 start at ISU). Has a big legacy to live up to this spring season following Wentz, Stick, and Lance.
So apparently Zeb Noland is at South Carolina as a GA, but with 1 season of eligibility left, suddenly they need him to play QB:
