I'll say this...
Oklahoma leadership believed these networks would max out at 5-9 million a year. ESPN swooping in and gving Texas 15 million a year has given pause to some Oklahoma admins. The provisions in the ESPN/Longhorn deal have as well
The thing that sticks out to me is the Texas network has been picked up anywhere yet and its distrubution is going to struggle in its first few years yet ESPN hands them a 300 million dollar contract. It reeks of a payoff for ending the superconference debates
Texas having ESPN in its back pocket pisses me off more than anything.
