Viewing numbers will be down on b12 games this year. Mark my words! People outside the b12 fans are not going to be tunning in
The one game per year referenced by Bowlsby was for football, not MBB.The problems are two-fold. First, commissioner Bob said there'd only be one game per year for each participating school. Both oSu and K-State will be in the second when the Cats visit. That's just absurd messaging or blatantly unethical, I'm not sure which. I've never found commissioner Bob to be the brightest light on the tree, so it shouldn't surprise me, I guess.

Circa 2010 Samantha Steele...Fox College Sports had some pretty sweet games for a couple years. Announce teams were A+ and SD only in the late 2000’s was a pretty neat vintage touch.
If you guys want to be at the same level as the MVC and other small conferences then ok. ESPN+ is where the MVC plays their games that are not on Fox Sports. B10, SEC, ACC all are on espn where most people can watch them with out needing to stream through their internet.

Just make the ISR forum a paid option. I can tell you the revenue from Hok fans alone would pay for the whole site. Especially if they have to keep paying for each username.Worked well for another cyclone site...

Yep, and this will be the second coming up for oSu and K-State.The one game per year referenced by Bowlsby was for football, not MBB.
stuff and let us have free stuff. KU vs ISU basketball on ESPN plus is my last straw. I won’t be nearly as invested in college sports if they keep raising ticket prices and making us pay to watch the Clones. Not worth it. I’ll find other things to do. I know some will blast me but there is to
Much free stuff to do. I know it’s all about money now but
Man I miss the old days.
Plus ISU vs KU deserves big
Monday or at least on ESPN.
Sorry, but I'm also in the camp of this is a step backwards. When this was billed as a replacement to CyTV for 3rd tier stuff that was a big improvement. But losing conference games to this platform is not great for visibility and exposure. Most people are still cable subs, so they are going to have to add a service to watch all the games.
And you can dismiss the good old days talking about what the TV deal looked like in the 80s, but it had been much better recently. I've been living out of state for 12 years and have been able to see all of our conference games via ESPN networks that entire time. That has been a great arrangement.
This is not going to be mainstream anytime soon either. You aren't going to be able to walk into any old bar and restaurant and see an ESPN+ game, that is exposure lost for the league. They will just roll with whatever is on ESPN with their cable package.
