Speaking of the Cubs, former Cub Ryan Theriot had an RBI single tonight that pushed Theriot's hitting streak to 15 games, the Majors' top active streak.
And? Middle infield is the Cubs' strongest area right now. If you're implying the Cubs shouldn't have gotten rid of Theriot, I'm not sure how you back that up when the Cubs are getting equal or better production from younger, cheaper guys who are under team control for a few more years. If you aren't implying that, what's the point of your post?
