Do you have actual examples of either of these scenarios in the NIL era?
The first one no, although it's an offshoot of the hire someone's family member to staff to get them to come deal that happened a ton in the before times. Shaedon Sharpe deal at Kentucky might have had something near that, that whole deal was a wild disaster of everything. I remember this talking point last summer and I do not remember why it got shot down.

The 2nd one I didn't know was a thing until Sic'Em 365 had an NIL guy from On3 on who mentioned that. It was on a couple of weeks ago.

If these aren't things people are doing then I'd suggest someone start them since the NCAA can't and wont do **** about it if you don't help them. Now is the time to cheat or "cheat" your ass off until they figure it out(if).

All I can say is I’m ready for next season. We need Biliew and Momcilovic so badly right now.
My gosh, I just watched unranked Maryland take it to Northwestern. Grant it they are mostly seniors, but all 4 non-center players on the floor could keep their dribble in/around/and thru contact until either they could get the shot or dish to an open 3 point shooter. MAN, do we need those type of players!

We saw this yesterday for sure. OU was bothered by our half court pressure and turned it over several times while not scoring the first 5 minutes. Then they figured it out and kept getting wide open threes. But we could only score 7 points in that span when we should have been up 10 or 12 at least.

Our problem is on the offensive end. We should have been able to score in the 60s at home and won that game. I wish we had more offensive talent in this year’s freshman class. I think the next two classes will be much better scorers.
It almost seems like we have reverted a bit to last year's team where our offense is very deliberate and we are trying to win 61-50. The only problem is we haven't put together 2 halves of great D in recent weeks.

Agree on yesterday- when OU struggled it would have been nice to have 10-12 points. Right now there are very few quality shots coming out of our half court offense. Seems like every shot is contested or off-balance.

3. How to make adjustments at halftime. This team is absolutely pathetic in the second half of every game.

4. How to call a timeout to kill momentum. Dude always calls them 6 points too late.

On the plus side, at least we aren't calling them to kill our own momentum the way Prohm did

Never let them see you sweat. I am not sure how you do it with those guns in the tight shirts, but you do.

Anyway..... a Technical once in awhile is ok. Otherwise, you are just playing at the other teams' foul-call-generating-culture.
Have you seen TJ's pits?

I was at the game Saturday and both Gabe and Caleb literally watch the ball while they dribble in open space.

I don't know how that's a thing for division 1 players and love what they've done for ISU so no real complaints but seeing it live hit home as to why you can't just have them drive to the hoop.

I hope we're not counting on freshman next year. TJ better hit the portal hard. We need an experienced post and sg next season.

I'd guess they have a plan for transfers and I like TJ's record so far with plugging in true freshmen.

I’ll judge him. He’s done a helluva job these first two years. He inherited a 2 win team, went to the Sweet 16 and will be back in the tourney in Year 2.

Yeah, he can easily be judged to have done a great job.

1. Never bank schollies

2. Never bank on anyone being here who hasn't committed

Those 2 things are why the season turned out how they are. We're massively overachieving but could be actually good if we had better breaks in the offseason. Hopefully TJ and the staff learn from this

I have no problem with them waiting on Green. We weren't getting anybody as close to his talent level and him deciding to go pro was a last minute thing worth waiting on. The season is still a resounding success despite everything and as always, hindsight is 20/20.

This has been my point since the Temple transfer was out for the season. We have 1 guard that can handle the ball and he is a true freshmen that is no threat to score other than a layup. Holman has done a good job of helping out, but he is not great. Gabe and Grill are not good with the ball, and they are still better than everyone else on the team. The coaches were counting on having 2 better ball handling and scoring guards on this team. They have accomplished a lot considering how limited offensively this team is.
