Dark off to the west but I am feeling Debbie Downerish on how much rain we'll get. Also hoping that if it does downpour, the amount of sprinklers and hand watering we've been trying to do will keep the ground soft enough to absorb it and not just run off but I'm really pessimistic about that.

It rained really hard in and around Middleton last week and you would hardly know it two days later.

Anything damaging to houses in Ankeny? We’re out of town this week so hoping we got a good rain but no hail and high wind.

The underpass on Grand in Ames was closed due to flooding with 2"- 4" reports around the area. We live close to the high school and someone said their gauge was at 4.25" Heard a weird noise in our basement.....our sump pump!! It's only run once in the last couple of hours so at least it still works yet.

Conductix on the south edge of Harlan had part of its roof taken off. Someone else said that Council Bluff is a mess, but then again it's kinda been that way for awhile. The storm just made it worse.

4.1 inches that started around 1, then stopped, then I went to sleep, then I woke up around 7 and it started pouring about an hour later. 75 degrees outside and my AC is running.
