Dark off to the west but I am feeling Debbie Downerish on how much rain we'll get. Also hoping that if it does downpour, the amount of sprinklers and hand watering we've been trying to do will keep the ground soft enough to absorb it and not just run off but I'm really pessimistic about that.
Anything damaging to houses in Ankeny? We’re out of town this week so hoping we got a good rain but no hail and high wind.
Been raining decently here on the West side. It's been sprinkling/light rain in the CR area so far, nothing overnight. The sky is getting really dark with lightning and thunder now, so hopefully will get a decent downpour.
Holy ****, we're actually going to get real rain.
It rained really hard in and around Middleton last week and you would hardly know it two days later.
Box, you need to move.I am so envious. The little spritz I heard hitting my flat roof last night for a minute or two didn't even register on the official rain gauges (aka dust bins) around the Twin Cities.
Was just told tree damage, semi trailers tipped and roof on lumber yard blown off all in Harlan and areas just south. Dont know about rain totals there.
Welcomed the 2" of rain at my house. Did not welcome the 1" hail that came with it. Norwalk. Thankfully most were smaller than this.

teheheheheShowing 1.25" in Marion it came down at an excellent rate for absorption and there are no puddles in sight.
Great now I will have to mow.
