who was the starting oline today?
Odds & Ends worth mentioning:
- We lost the turnover battle 2 to 1, but still won.
- Sam Seonbuchner had 1 reception for 6 yards (someone earlier said no TE's had a catch today. He plays a lot of F-back, but he's listed as a TE).
- Matt Leo credited for a sack (his first, I believe)
Biggest development today: multiple under-center snaps at the goal line.
Game threads are toxic, win or lose.
Good Jones
Meeker
Newell
Kiniple
Collin Olson for Mueller
Plus Chase Allen was out
I’m not 100% sure it was him but pretty early he went out on a route after some contact came off the field with his arm limp. Looked like a dislocated shoulder.Whats up with Chase?
The one thing about yesterday's game that chapped my ass is Campbell's conservative play calling. Akron threw downfield way more than us.
We have 2 big receivers who can make plays yet they dont throw it more than 10 yards. With less than 50% completion and a loss.

And when we have, we've usually scored.
But even worse than that, as CW has mentioned, we rarely throw it past the sticks on 3rd downs. Yesterday, we had a 3rd and 3, we threw the ball, completed it, and didn't get the 1st down. It was a 1-2 yd completion. How can that even happen? Just sad.
Anyone DVR the game and could get a couple screen shots of Braxton Lewis holding the turnover belt? Would love a couple.
Just started this year. The guys came up with it on defense and it took off.Someone mentioned this to me at work today and I didn't even realize we had such thing on the sideline. When did this start?
