I fear that Hield is going to be unconscious behind the arc, OU comes up with all the boards and loose balls, and our boys have one of their patented cold starts that they can't recover from. I hope I'm wrong.

Somebody's got a bad case of the Mondays...

I'll keep sippin' on sunshine and optimism. OU falls off track and our renewed defensive intensity (TTech was just a scrimmage to get ready for OU) wins the night.

Oklahoma can't withstand this Cyclone...Tornado Alley or not.

ISU let this one slip away last year - Spangler killed us on the boards…Enter Jameel McKay, Spangler struggles vs length & McKay will run him into the ground he needs to play for 30 minutes. BDJ is key hope he shows how great his 1 on 1 D can be, pace & open court should be right up his alley. OU plays 3 guards big opportunity for Matt Thomas tonight. This is a huge game not only for the B12 title but to hold serve vs the log jam that is 2nd place.

I've got a bad feeling about this one. Oklahoma is playing well and on a nice streak right now. And Lon can coach. I just have a bad feeling we are going to have one of those cold, off nights that dooms us from the start. Somebody post something to make me feel better.

The stadium will be empty cus everyone in Oklahoma will still be hungover from the thunder game yesterday. Right before the game starts, a front row donor accidentally will vomit on buddy hield, getting some in his eye and he will have to miss the game. We go on to comfortably win by 10-12

The 2 players I want to see McKay block the most are Spangler and White. Since we wont ever play against White again I hope he blocks the **** out of Spangler every time he gets the ball

Oklahoma. The place where they invented the toothbrush. Anywhere else it would have been called the teethbrush. Must be from all that meth they smoke.

TaShawn Thomas is concerned with Georges skill set. This match up will go a long way towards determining the outcome (obviously). Hopefully Thomas will be uncomfortable playing Niang, as he hasn't been asked to guard a player like him before.

Oklahoma senior TaShawn Thomas has seen just about everything during his nearly four seasons as a college basketball player. He’s faced plenty of really good players and plenty of really good teams. But he hasn’t faced a player quite like Iowa State’s Georges Niang — until Monday night.
“It’s going to be the first time I guard a guy that versatile,” Thomas said.

BTW Some concern in Sooner land that TT would sit tonight. It looks like Thomas is going to play, they will need him because OU is pretty thin on the bench.

@OU_MBBall: TaShawn Thomas left game early y'day, limited in practice today. But just said he's good to go for Big Monday game vs. Iowa St.

This is going to be a tough one. I hope we can control Spangler- I remember just about stroking out last year when he was completely dominating ISU down the stretch on the glass! Gotta keep pressure on Hield and Cousins. They can go off at any second. GO CYCLONES!

Long guarding Hield worries me. You can't let him get going. BDJ should start along with McKay. Put the best defensive and rebounding 5 to start.

I could see some advantage to BDJ on Hield; perhaps the length will disrupt him. I know Fred's been concerned about our 3pt Defense, so I hope we have a good game plan tonight to stop their outside shot.

BDJ concerns me with his 3 point defense, he leaves his feet on the pump fake and flies by the shooter, leaving him wide open. BDJ is good off the ball defender though, may he cna just deny the ball to Buddy.

This is a tough turnaround for the second week in a row, having a Saturday game then a Big Monday game on the road no less.

I thought the guys looked a little gassed at Kansas, that could be due to the turnaround, the travel, the hype, the adrenaline of playing Kansas.

I hope they don't loose any steam tonight. And I hope they don't get into one of their Classic road -15 point starts tonight.
