Amen. I’ve had to fire friends that couldn’t/ wouldn’t perform their job obligations. It sucks. You’re affecting not only them but their families. No one (unless you’re a real sadist) enjoys doing it. It ultimately becomes a question to fire them, and affect their family, or stay the course you’re on, and affect you’re family if you get fired. Time will tell what happens here.

Yes but the play I mentioned was an obvious one where we made not one but two huge mistakes to allow it to happen in the first place.

I don't even think CycloneFanatic did that bad, I think us on here had more beef with Campbell going for a FG on 4th and 1 when his kicker had already missed twice that game and a botched snap on a PAT.
I love Campbell but don't love this quote. The fans have continued to do their part and he chose to throw the fanbase under the bus.

I saw some idiotic people tweeting at him, but to go after the 'fanbase' for a few outliers is a little rich.
Love Campbell but that's a massive redirection play to say the fans were the problem. And a big FU to those that keep showing up.

That's very not Campbell like. Also I feel like he wasn't talked about too much. I am happy he bounced back this week but Campbell is talking about the wrong thing.
There is all sorts of things that happen with every fanbase, but if you think cyclone fans are anything close to as bad to what happens at other places, you are crazy.
Honestly what he said there has me a bit worried. Moreso than the bad offense and special teams, this is like the biggest red flag I've seen from him at ISU.

I can't speak for anyone else Matt.........but I wasn't here trying to fry an 18 year old kid. I was here trying to fry a 40 something year old millionaire for making the decisions he did last week putting that 18 year old in that position.
When you start pitting the team against the fans Matt........maybe it's time to drink a tall glass of grow the heck up........or find another line of work.
HD will be a fine QB but no way in hell was he starting in front of Purdy last year as a lot on here suggested that he should have. I get Manning isn't great but I think we have to realize this team just isn't that talented on offense which is a shame because this defense is very very good.
