Butler had a 128 inch broad jump (10 feet 8 inches) and a vertical of 36 inches. The article I read stated he had 11 feet 1 inch broad jump and 37 inch vertical. Not too far off and he might have been tired when doing these, who knows. Anyway, the broad jump is still top 10 against everyone who has gone yesterday and today (WR, TE, RB, QB, etc).

You'd think Butler helped himself a bit today with his 40 time, although the drops are still going to be a big question mark for teams.

He's had a case of the drops his entire career at ISU (cost us one Iowa game), and didn't ease anyone's worries about that today.

He'll still go fairly high though with his off the charts measurables. You still can't find anyone better for the deep ball IMO.

I think today solidified Metcalf being the first receiver off the board. Butler did help himself though; I would expect him to go late first round/early second round.

Butler made himself a lot of money today, pretty impressive. Hopefully he goes late in the first to a decent organization.

It’ll be nice to finally have some draft picks again, and a couple of guys that have a shot at big pro careers.

“A bit”? A bit?

Everyone—and, I mean everyone—-was saying that with his measurables from Friday, all that he had to do was run somewhere in the 4.5’s to go in the first round. In other words, the same time Lazard had.

He shattered that, with a 4.48

He helped himself a lot at the combine.

The only way Hakeem reverses that is if he drops every single pass at ISU’s Pro Day and every team workout he goes to.

Metcalf may have made himself a top 5 pick, but Hakeem is still solidly Day One.

I honestly don't know.... Is he good at football? Or is he just this year's best athlete to jump to the top 10?

My favorite of these is Vernon Gholston .

I have seen some discussion about that on Twitter. Metcalf has a pretty slow 3 come drill, could be stiff. Also, let's just say he's at 1.6% body fat, he can't keep that when he plays. He'll have to get to 8-10% which could be an extra 10-15 lbs. Will Metcalf be as fast or good as he is 10-15 lbs heavier? Sure, but it's a minor risk, along with added injury history.
