NET doesn’t seem to much of a driving factor:
5 seeds
SDSt. 14
Duke 16
Miami 35
StMary’s 11
6 seeds
Creighton 17
Ky 26
ISU 20
TCU 28
ESPN's "summary" under Iowa has them as "one of the hottest teams in the country"... lol.
So they'll do better this year because they're coming in after losses to Nebraska and Ohio State? Hmmm...Completely opposite trends going into the tournament for Iowa the last two years.
I just think we've had a lot of naïve folks around here lately. End of the day, the committee members are humans using judgement to figure this all out. Doesn't matter what's on the "team sheet' or not, or what the stated metrics and criteria are.
They didn't like the big 12 as much as the metrics did. I tired to suggest the big 12 is "overrated", while still being the best conference and people told me I was a moron.
Anyway, seed doesn't matter, you have to play great teams regardless.
Go cyclones
Iowa with their back against the wall will come out and put out a good game.
Yeah.Thanks
This confuses me every year. If we get to the Sweet 16, are we in KC?
Because you only have 10 teams?
Btw while I agree the Big12 is the best conference by far in cbb you all sound like SEC football schools who claim that because the conference is so good everyone of there losses is a good loss and thus just about every team should be ranked.
Uh, because they have 14 teams and the Big 12 has 10.Been saying it on here for a couple of weeks, how in the heck does the #1 ranked conference by every metric get fewer teams in than the SEC and the B10? I thought the rankings matter, if that is what the numbers say, then Ok. State and even TT belonged in before some of the lower ranked NET teams from the B10 and SEC.
That would be interesting. Texas' 250 fans would be there, Drakes 2,500 fans would be there and ISU and Iowa would have like 20K each. KC would need to order a little more beer.Yes. Likely against Texas. Iowa State, Drake and Iowa would all play in KC if they got to the Sweet 16.

TuesdayI believe their game is Wednesday night.
No. But you can't use they're upset last year as a reason why they'll lose this year.So they'll do better this year because they're coming in after losses to Nebraska and Ohio State? Hmmm...
Days are set, game times and TV will be set later tonight.Oh is it? Could have misread or CBS ****** up. They did that a couple of time during the show
You do know Auburns three point defense is one of the best in the country rightWithout much pressure/expectations, I think Iowa opens the game with one of their ‘flurry of made three’s’. Auburn is unable to answer and plays catchup all game.
So they'll do better this year because they're coming in after losses to Nebraska and Ohio State? Hmmm...
It is Zuri, what else would you expect.I ******* love this mindset. Let's just forget that these two teams won't have time to prepare for us. Let's be upset about a reason to be glum about Iowa State. JFC
We play Friday don’t we? It would be WednesdayTuesday
