Blahahahahaha I was just gonna post this
What I don't think most realize is how incredible the WV QB was that game. The one thing which stood out is the arch he put on the ball, thus extending the field, not only in length, but side to side. Without that finesse and accuracy, the field compacts making it easier to cover runs. The bottom line is: he had one incredible game. It happens. Then we should be better at that and ask WVU how they did it because we have done the same thing with the Iowa score and that hasn't helped us win that one in a long time. In fact we have arguably looked the worst each season in that game. So now what?
Any recruits in the house?
Have to share from mass tonight at OLIH in Ankeny. Father shared that he held mass with the Texas team at 130 this afternoon. When it came time for the final blessing, he said his fingers were crossed. Best mass I've been to all year
and yet "fans" were chirping last week about us getting manhandled by West Virginia and complaining about our strength program
Allow me to tie together a bow that few of you will care about.
After Tyrone Willingham lead Oregon's true rival, the mistake-by-the-lake leg humpers (WA), to a winless 0-12 season in 2008, Steve Sarkisian took over as head coach.
Following some success at Washington, as well as some failure, Coach Sarkisian was elevated by the fraternal coaching order to be the head coach at USC. Where he proceeded to fail as grandly as his predecessor, Lane Kiffin, who also succeeded to the USC head coaching job as a golden child prodigy of the fraternal coaching order.
Never have two mediocre football coaches failed upwardly more spectacularly than Coaches Sarkisian and Kiffin.
Today, Matt Campbell and the Iowa State Cyclones beat down a blue blood football program lead by a much lesser head coach and staff.
Kudos. And thanks.
I just don't get why you would fire Herman just to hire his carbon copy.A lot of people called Sark a "great hire", and a number of people freaked out that he was going to bring Texas back. On the other hand, when the hire was announced, I saw it as one of the least threatening hires Texas could have possibly made.
