Every year I get a letter thanking my contribution to the foundation and it’s always 80% what I give the cyclone club. I am doing my taxes now and haven’t gotten that far yet.

I get that too just never read it lol

* Prior to the passage of the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017, the Internal Revenue Code provided an 80% charitable deduction for Cyclone Club contributions. Effective January 1, 2018, no charitable deduction is allowed for Iowa State athletic contributions for which the donor receives the right to purchase tickets or seating at an Iowa State University athletic event. Please consult your tax advisor concerning your specific gift deductibility.

I looked at mine. The only thing without an asterisk is the Gridiron club

I just saw Captains at 571.

There are 659 in captains according to my account. I cropped a screenshot that is attached showing my rank and the total

Here's my screen shot. Do they think no one compares this stuff? I do know that the number has changed over time. This is the third different number I've seen in 2019.

Who knows, but as long as I get an RV pass I don't care all that much. I am inclined to think that there are more as my rank is 613.

Don’t they consider it to be 80 % to the foundation though? Or did that change also. You donate to the foundation and they give to the athletic department?

Recently received a letter from the Foundation about being a member of the Campanile Society. I figure that means that it is deductible as a contribution to the Foundation

So a person buying 4 season FB tickets for 10 consecutive years gets the same number of priority points as somebody who buys 1 season FB ticket for 10 consecutive years? Hmm, that just seems wrong.

Feels wrong, but is correct for a good reason. If someone wanted to game the system they could buy 21 season tickets to women's basketball and get 210 priority points for just $2100 and in the process leapfrog the couple who has had 2 FB tickets for a decade. Recall, there is a cap on the number of men's BB or FB tickets at each giving level but no cap on women's BB tickets.

My wife writes a 4 digit check every year and have never taken advantage of any of the perks. Dumb or what

Mine was just updated, at least it wasn't earlier in the week. It now says there are 1753 gold club members.

Mine changed this week as well from 1729 to 1753 in Gold.
Captains increased from (what mine said) 659 to 660. Not much of an increase but it did change.
My rank also changed from 613 to 615.

Saw the same increase here, too - last minute changes? I was a little surprised at where we fell in gold (this is our first year in gold, higher than I expected in the pecking order.) We've been cardinal since '05 or '06, whenever we got the first "you'll lose your parking if you don't give more" letter - probably '06, as JP was just hired in '05. NCC and season FB since '03, maybe the longevity is finally paying off?

I just pulled this today. I'm guessing I'm on the edge for retaining my C4 parking pass?

Your rank is 396 of 1340 for all Cardinal Members

Been a season ticket holder for 22 years, and haven't missed one home game, including Drake. Should count for something. :)

First year season ticket holder here, 1309 out of 1340. I'm gaining on you all!

Edit: I'm banking on my parking pass getting me into a lot somewhere around Gilbert.
