Harris would be a great pick up and I would have to think ISU would be the favorite right now since the other two schools aren't very good. Him and Noskowiak would make a great weekend. that to me would be enough to put them top 5 preseason next year.

The only reason I can think of why he'd go elsewhere is playing time. There aren't necessarily a ton of minutes for him, depending on everybody's progression. If we get Diallo somehow than his playing time is really a question mark, IMO.

Didn't the kid from Temple plan a visit to ISU, but visited Ohio State first and never made it to Ames? I see the same scenario here, the kid does not get to Auburn..

Harris would be a perfect fit for next year IMO. Versatile, good size. Exactly what we need coming off the bench to spell Georges and Jameel. Hopefully we seal the deal this weekend.

Yep Lee, though due to injury he didn't contribute much last year. Often happens that later visits get canceled. BDJ had more visits planned after for after his ISU visit but breakfast at CFH's place sealed the deal and he commited.
First things first he is heading to Georgia Tech today.

I bet he'll start if he comes.

I love the speed of this group. Having Nader, Thomas, and Burton to round up our bench... Love it.

I think we need to ask ourselves, who is the odd man out? I don't see Fred going 9 deep very often.

Wasn't it mentioned that Burton could redshirt this year to get that extra semester of eligibility? If he did, the I guess he would be the "odd man out."

There is no way Burton would redshirt

Yea I don't understand why everyone's saying to take both. It's better suited for ISU to bank a scholarship for the enevitable mid-season transfer. If it doesn't happen then its one free schollie for 16-17. Not worth the risk just to take a bench warmer to 10-12 minutes guy.
I know we have had a couple of mid season transfers in but we also have had a couple of mid season transfers out also. The problem for Transfer In is borrowing for that semester of tuition in the spring and the problem for transfer out is loss of scholly the full year whether the player is active or not. Why count on one of these when there are 700 transfers available now? Roll the dice now because talent is available now.

It probably won't happen but I think it would be a not bad idea. 2 years of burton > 1.5 years. We did it with kantrail Horton a gazillion years ago and it paid huge dividends (something about two big 12 titles vs 1 and an nit birth maybe.)

That's not happening.

I don't think it'll happen, but to actually answer your question, yes, it was mentioned.
