I don't care at all if rules aren't broken. People don't like the 5th year transfer rule, including me, but by all means use it.

If he wants to come to ISU because he thinks Fred can prepare him best for the NBA, fine. If he wants to come to ISU but has strings attached like hiring his mentor as a coach, or other conditions other players do not get, then I don't think his one year is worth it. Pass.

Although we could just hire him and not really have him do anything, how do we know he wont start committing recruiting violations left and right and leave us in a horrible position. Not saying he would do that, maybe he could be a great addition to our staff, I don't know.

I may be misremembering this, but didn't she move here and apply at the university (the single largest employer in Ames and even Story County, I believe) and get a job. I don't think the job was even in the athletic department. I don't think someone should be ineligible to work for the largest employer in the area simply because their kid is a recruit. It's not like they gave her Julie Flory's job in the basketball offices just out of the blue while they were recruiting Will.
The university hired Bubu's parents years and years ago to get him to come and play at ISU without a scholly.

No matter what people say/write, CFH knows his situation more than anyone on here and any writer. I trust him and if they're all in for RV than I'm on board no matter what stories are floating around. Say what you want but the kid has the potential to be a program changer

Man people are quick to jump somebody when they don't have all of the facts. I just hope none of you get into trouble because everyone will crucify you before you ever have a chance for you story to be known. The truth of the matter is the "victim" was Bill Hader and he gave him $250 to take his cell phone.
