If it comes down to Travis and Vaughn for the last scholarship I'd put a ton of money on Vaughn. I may be wrong but that's where my money would go regardless of need. Vaughn is a national statement recruit. Travis is a notch below by Minnesotan's accounts. Things could change of course.

although Travis is "undersized" as a 6'-7" PF, I really his power game. At this point he is physically dominating his opponents, and working on his outside skills. I think he'd be a great compliment to Georges and Percy, who aren't necessarily real physical.
throwing some things at the wall: Can he be a more skilled version of Ejim? A "power 3" vs. a "finesse 3" like Clyburn?

At this point you have to think Vaughn, Travis, and Abu are the main targets Freddy is after in 2014

Man, if we could get solid, and sometimes elite players on the regular from MI, WI, & MN. So much talent up there, Chicago area as well but it's tough to get anyone up there these days. Get em Fred, once we land a quality highschool big man, this forum will explode.
It's clear that now that Thomas has signed, he doesn't think he needs to try hard. This is why the staff shouldn't take early commitments and make everyone sign in the spring period.
