Most of the people on message boards should apologize to Rhoads for their entitlement. It amazes me how people on here constantly say that the fans have stepped up and the team has not. Our tailgating and game experience is great and will continue to be win or loose. Everyone knew going into the season that it would be a rough one. With the exception of tonight, every game has been close and very fun to watch. College football is entertainment and our Clones have delivered on the entertainment. If you can't figure that out stay home. And while you are at it stay way from CF because all you are doing is making our future recruits think you are all the voice of CyclONE nation when actually you are the very silent minority.

The UNI, Iowa, and Baylor games were not fun to watch... All three were horrible. Horrible. We lost to freaking UNI.

If you think ISU fans are entitled, you don't really understand the word. I'll leave it at that. ISU football fans literally expect nothing, nothing. They keep showing up to watch one of the historically worst teams in college football, they do this week after week... We sell out the stadium that we haven't won a game in a calender year... Entitled? No freaking way.

We're no silent minority. That'll show in actual attendance the rest of this season.
If you want me to apologize for expecting growth instead of nuclear beatdowns, you'll be waiting a long time.

Sorry, but putting up with crap, perpetuates crap. Most recruits want to win as bad as fans do.

I love it - another keyboard control freak who doesn't want posts from fans who actually question the direction of the program! Truth be told, because of the tremendous loyalty of Cyclone fans who show up no matter what the product on the field is, it's the coaching staff that maybe feels entitled and has a false sense of accomplishment. They know there are going to be butts in the seats no matter how the team plays.

Run routes to get first downs!!! Said a few words at my TV which my kids should not know. My wife reminded me of this about 10 times. Long night.

I fully agree Cyclonepride! Just express disappointment and demand changes. Understand your frustration.

Just got back from the game...

On the positive side...well...my wife's Passat TDI is a blast to drive.

On the negative side...well...ISU appears to be playing at an FCS level in the head coach's fifth year. My first game in person this year, and I see now why ISU lost to UNI. The talent disparity is shocking.

Keyboard control freak? That is the best you can come up with? Let me guess, you are not a student or grad of ISU and don't actually go to games anyway.

What I find appalling is how little total yardage we managed. I looked up what other teams on BU's schedule had gained against them and the only team that was even close to as bad as we were was Wofford, and they STILL out-gained us by nearly 60 yards. Baylor's opponents and the total yards they gained against the Bears this season:

Wofford - 233
Buffalo - 363
Louisiana Monroe - 295
West Virginia - 394
Kansas State - 446
Iowa State - 174

The current state of the offense just isn't acceptable. I don't care who was on the field for us, we should be doing better than that. Seriously, did someone let Jim Walden in the side door when no one was looking?

Yes...

I see the same thing. Hopefully some of the fans become a little less delusional after this game though. Rhoads needs to be held accountable. Mess needs to be fired.

Yeah but did any of those teams punt for 431 yards?

Looking over the box score is as painful as I thought it would be after watching the game, ugh.

You would be the expert on this - you were this guy when McCarney's head was on the chopping block.

3rd straight loss in conference for UNI. Would ISU even finish top-half of the MVC?

Well that was fun. We need answers as to why we are in this position in year five coach. We wouldn't even compete in the mvc ******* pathetic.
