What are you talking about? Jacobson has 18 fouls this year and Lard has 14. Since when is 14 > 18?

Some of you guys just makeup statistics to try to prove a point. So you think the reason our defense and rebounding is struggling is because of Lard and his 7.8mpg?

Jesus. You can't possibly be this stupid. Jacobson plays probably an average of 27 minutes per game and 18 fouls.

LARD HAS PLAYED 31 MINUTES TOTAL AND HAS 14 FOULS.

Several games combined, which is what I posted, isn’t synonymous to all games

LOL!!!! You really dont understand how this works do you? You cant just pick and choose a few of the games that add up to less than 14 fouls and then proclaim Jacobson has less fouls. Thats one of the funniest things I've seen in quite some time.

Jacobson only has 4 more fouls than Lard in 318 minutes to Lard’s 31 is exactly the point

But yet Lard has 5 blocks compared to only 3 for Jacobson is those exact same minutes????

Before I get to your fallacy, Drake isn’t one of the best teams we’ve played.

According to RPI metrics, Iowa is the best team we've played at 33, Arizona is 50 and Drake is 54. So they are 2 of the top 3 teams we have played so far and are 4 spots away from being the 2nd best team. You are really desperate to try to prove me wrong that you end up looking completely ridiculous.

Lard’s only played 31 minutes. In that small sample he’s made more mistakes than Jacobson has in several games combined. Also more fouls

Go ahead an resort to name calling, thats all you are good for around here anyways. I see how you interact with other fans also.

I know exactly what he said, Lard has 14 fouls and Jacobson has 18. You cant just pick some random games where his fouls dont add up to 14 and then proclaim he has many more fouls than Jacobson does in certain games. Thats the most ridiculous argument I've ever seen on here.

Everyone can see that Lard is fouling at a high rate, thats not what Im debating here.

I think Prohm needs to develop a big lineup that can play some of the game because he is going to have Jacobson, Lard and Young all fighting for minutes at the same position otherwise.

If only the Warriors would knock it off with this small-ball nonsense and put some real dominant big men out there. Who plays five men out, anyways? Witchcraft.

@jsb

I've been keeping an eye on you lately. Your basketball knowledge is lacking and a majority of your post's Ive seen don't do anything but badmouth people and respond to stuff that has you triggered.

So I guess your gig on here is to name call and troll other fans that you think are trolls?

If we really want more shot blocking, Conditt needs to play more. Potential isn't an objective ground from which you can argue for more playing time for a player. It's more of a rhetorical ideal situation.

Oh, is that a fact wise guy? I was at the game on the sidelines and in the stands? Where were you? Sitting on your couch while everyone else was getting frostbite?

I was there and NO, 50% of the fans did NOT leave the stadium after we were down to K-State. If you would have said 50% of the fans thought about leaving then maybe that would have been a true statement wise guy.

Why didnt you just say Lard has more fouls so far than Jacobson has in X number of games, then pick the games where Jacobson has the fewest fouls, being careful not to go over 14, and list them out for all of us to see?

I don't know what all of the fuss is. Lard got 3 fouls worth of playing time while Jacobsen, Conditt and Talley combined got 1 foul worth of playing time. It sounds like he is getting more of a chance than the rest of our bigs combined.

BS!!! That stadium was half empty when we were down big. Some people may have came back in once they realized Iowa State was coming back, but for awhile I guarantee you 50% of the people were gone.

You were there cheering for Kansas State. Of course you stayed when your team was ahead.

You just enjoy watching them get treated like the JV team against the biggest rival then huh? I dont want to watch that crap.

I would venture to say 50% of the crowd left early when Iowa State was down to K-State in the 4th a couple weeks ago. So evidently lots of other fans don't like watching their team lose either.

Iowa isn't the biggest rival. If it was......CSP would have inserted injured players in a desperate attempt to win the game at all costs like the red face looney toon on the other bench did. If Iowa was our biggest rival, then Mr. Young would have been put in long enough to cause s*** with Mr. Cook and get him thrown out of the game. Then....he would have put in Wiggonton to lay looney toon jr. out on the floor. What does CSP care....they are out until for another few weeks......and he just has to beat Iowa, right? No hawkroach.....we are your teams biggest rival, and the way red face looney toon coached the game did more than verify that fact.

And your schtick is getting very old. Been reading it for years. You don't want to "watch that crap"............BS! You enjoy watching that crap....then come here and insert yourself into conversations and project yourself as an ISU fan. Not that it matters in what happens in the world......you aren't that important. But it sure the H would be nice to come here and carry on a nice, well rounded and thought out conversation with fellow clones just because we can without some self involved BS artist making a mockery of almost every basketball thread. So please, this season.....give us all a break and take a walk. Thank you.

Why? Because I stick up for people when they are down? This team needs a healthy and functioning Cam Lard to be playing like he did last year in order to reach its full potential.

I honestly believe we are a tournament team either way, but we could challenge for a Big 12 title with Lard playing like he did last year. We are that deep and talented.

If you guys are fine with playing small ball all year and getting a 9 and 10 seed, then by all means, keep bashing him. If you guys want to compete for a Big 12 championship and get at top 2 or 3 finish then we need Lard big time.
