BS!!! That stadium was half empty when we were down big. Some people may have came back in once they realized Iowa State was coming back, but for awhile I guarantee you 50% of the people were gone.

So your contention is that at the 12:27 mark of the 4th quarter 50% of the fans left the stadium and then scurried back in before the end of the game? For being such a wise guy you are forgetting the fact that there are no re-admissions after the 4th quarter starts.

Listen to me very, very slowly, lots and lots, 50, 53, 57,47% of fans left the stadium early that night. I saw it with my own eyes, and estimated based on how many people I saw in my own section left. Whether you want to crunch numbers or not, alot of Iowa State fans bailed on their team simply because they were losing. So excuse me if i was making dinner during the Iowa game and didnt have my eyes glued onto who Jacobson was guarding that evening.

I hope Lard reads some of these message board and know that alot of people have his back and want him to succeed. He got one hell of a standing ovation in Des Moines Saturday so obviously alot of people know his importance to this years team.

This forum brings out all the haters and Prohm sunshine pumpers though so I wouldnt expect anything less from some of you. You guys did the exact same thing Jameel Mckay his senior year, along with other guys like Jacob Park, and it honestly makes me sick.

History shows you'll be back on the subject.

Probably. You guys did the exact same thing with Mckay, critiquing every little move he made, from what he did in warmups to his body language.

It's weird Mckay never had issues with Hoiberg, but all of sudden he's lazy, is a headcase, doesnt practice hard enough, etc as soon as Prohm took over.

Maybe Prohm needs to take a look at who he's recruiting then. If you are going to take chances on guys like this who might have issues you have to be able to adapt to them.

Im out on the Lard subject, of course bozos are going to be making this exact same thread after he plays 10 minutes Eastern Illinois so who knows.

What would be your allocation of minutes/game for Jake, Solo, Lard, and Conditt in Big 12 play?

Damn. People are more civil about the Trump administration than they are about a 9-2 basketball team that the computers have ranked in the Top 25.

I remember when we loved this team because they were so "free" and "joyous" a few weeks ago.

I dont know the exact breakdown, and each game would be different depending on whether we are going smaller or bigger.

I would put the order though:

Jacobson-keep his minutes about the same
Young- 20-25 minutes
Lard- 15-20 minutes
Conditt-spot minutes

I do know Lard needs more than 3 or 5 minutes here or there, and he certainly needs to be one of the first guys off the bench, not sit there for 26 minutes then be thrown in.

Thats just a rough estimate on where I would want it to be. I know you'll say there arent that many froncourt minutes to go around, so I wouldnt see anything wrong with cutting backcourt minutes to make up for it.

Right now we have four starters playing over 30 mpg, there is no reason we cant cut that down by 3 or 4 minutes for each guy, that would keep them a little fresher and we still have such a deep bench that there wouldnt be a sharp dropoff.

Yeah these are quite the threads after a win.

I'm not sure it was even this bad after the loss at Tech in '15 and that ISU team was ranked top 15 most of the year and Tech was bad on bad.

I think Lard and MJ are opposites in style. MJ does everything but rim protect. Lard does nothing but rim protect. If it were up to me, I'd play Jacobson, Talley, and sometimes THT at the 4 , with Lard, Solo, and Conditt as the 5.
