Opened at 51.5, with ISU favored by 3.5. Wonder how many points Vegas gives for the stadium
I heard somewhere that Kinnick stadium is worth around 5 pts. So Milan Puskar given the logistics of getting there and atmosphere/history let's say it's 4pts. So on a neutral field we'd be favored by 7.5.

I hope we pass a lot on first down against WVU. Here were all of Okie State’s first down plays against WVU. Ollie Gordon had a little bit of success on his first drive, but I think that was fool's gold.

1st drive. Ollie Gordon run for 8 yards. After picking up first down, then another Ollie Gordon run for 8 yards. Next play OSU gets a holding penalty and drive ends with a punt.

2nd drive. Ollie Gordon run for 1 yard. 3 and out.

3rd drive. Bowman pass for 8 yards. After picking up first down, then Ollie Gordon run for 2 yards. Next play is an interception.

4th drive. Okie State got a TD this drive. It started with an Ollie Gordon run for 14 yards. Then Bowman pass for 15 yards. Then Gordon run for 1 yard. After picking up the first down via the air, Bowman threw an incomplete pass on 1st and goal from WVU 8. They scored on a 3rd down pass.

5th drive. Okie State got the ball with only 22 seconds left in the first half and ended up kneeling on it.

6th drive. Ollie Gordon run for 1 yard. 3 and out.

7th drive. Sesi Vailahi run for 3 yards. After a big pass play picks up first down, Bowman threw an incomplete pass. Down 31-7 Okie State throws an interception on 4th and 17 from the WVU 43.

I'll end here as Okie State put in their backup QB late in the 3rd quarter. At this point, Okie State had run 12 plays on first down: 8 runs. 4 passes.

Both of their drives that went 3 and out started with a 1 yard run.

If I remember right from past years when we've played WV, there's a pod called "3 guys before the game" that does a pre/post game pod for each of their games. I haven't listed to anything this year but I'll check it out later this week. If I have the name right, these guys are pretty smart and give good takes/insight into WV matchups and aren't boners.
It is 3 guys before the game. a pretty good crew that has access to NB, the AD, and closed football practices. I think ISU covers, but some strange things have happened at night in Morganton. Not under NB though--so i think your safe.

WVU beat up on the B12's 3rd worst defense on Saturday. Honestly, had no idea a Gundy defense would be that bad. Lots of reasons for optimism in this one. I get that **** gets weird in Morgantown, but we said that about Waco last year, and look how that turned out. Yes, we could lose, but this team feels like a team that can fight through the weirdness

I’m going to Morgantown solo. Anyone else going? I’m flying to Roanoke, renting a motorcycle and going to ride up and around the region a couple days. Any thoughts on meetup, key experiences or where I should get a ticket?
Heading up from Dallas solo with my wife's birthday on Monday I need to get back quickly!

The world loves an underdog,

Everyone is picking WV for the upset.

That makes ISU the underdog.

A tough test as always in Morgantown.

Next week you have a home game against a UCF program in disarray. Then a bye week to get healthy before a tough game against Tortilla Tech.

Win this weekend and it starts getting real.
Tech is a huge surprise. I wrote them off after their horrible Non-con. But they've been on fire.

Hopefully our guys remember what happened the last time we went out there. Time to set things right.

ISU will have to weather the storm, keep the mistakes to a minimum and they will have a shot. Otherwise, it could be a long night.
