Actually calling a timeout when **** is hitting the fan or a possession is going haywire at a crucial time (ahem last-45-seconds-of-UAB-game).
The interesting thing is, in that UAB game we went up 12-2 right away. During that time-out, I thought, "Good, it will be nice to have a blow-out in the first game." Had we gone into that 1st timeout behind or in a close game, I would have been a little more nervous. Then the ****storm went into effect, and we never recovered. As far as team performances go, probably the worst of the Hoiberg era.Last year at the end of the season we didn't exactly have great starts. Oklahoma, Texas at B12 tournament, UAB, Baylor are a couple that come to mind.
I think we have already seen what CSP can do that CFH didn't. CSP embraces the whole process of being a college basketball coach and his recruiting reflects that.

So what corny management book did you read that line in?![]()
I served as research director and marketing manager building one of the most successful family owned companies in the US. So, I suppose those comments are a compilation personal experience, observation and education.

Just kidding. I just find it funny when someone at work spouts a line they clearly just read in a "How to be a Manager" book at me.
