Rhoads should be gone if we can't make this game happen. We should have absolutely no problem handily winning this game.

I'd be laughing with those guys in C3 that I had a few beers with after Iowa beat us. We find ways to lose, Went to Lawrence last year thinking I'd see our last win of the year. Couldn't do anything but laugh after that one. I wont be holding my breath. I want just as much as the next guy to have a competitive football team, but I don't think we are going to see it under Paul.

When I read this thread title, I immediately thought of this scene in Friday Night Lights.
Except substitute "win state" to "Beat Kansas".

If we lose then ISU will be at the lowest point it's been at in modern Cyclone football history. JP and ticket holders will have a lot of cheap/free tickets to give away the rest of the year so that JTS isn't a nice looking graveyard the rest of the way. All eyes will completely shift from football to ISU basketball.

It would be a really disgusting moment if we lose at home to KU. I knew this team wasn't going to amaze me as a fan or anything, but I was hoping my cautious optimism would at least get me past the first weekend of Big 12 competition. Please ISU; don't lose to the Jayhawks at Jack Trice.
