    We wrestled a good tourney but 12th is still 12th. I believe KJ will be in the last year of his contract and we should have an experienced team. Is there a minimum finish at the NCAAs that KJ needs to keep his job? And is that finish realistic? Thoughts? My take is we need to finish top 5...

    Parker Hesse from Waukon

    Finally got a chance to see this kid play last night. Why the heck haven't we offered him again??? 6'3" 215, athletic and physical. Could play any number of positions. Iowa has offered--how come we haven't?

    Just lost in OT at home to a conference opponent for the 2nd straight week. 0-3 in their league. Playoff hopes all but dead. I guess all the talk of them being one of the best FCS teams was just that.

    Boy I really thought a mediocre JC DE would be our answer at DT. Sarcasm. He's not good. And he's not 300 lbs. Any Iowa OL helped him up on a play and made Coe look tiny.

    Here's why it will be so tough to break through

    I just read a thread on the Iowa board where they projected a lineup for 2 years down the road. There are no less than six of their current starters listed. I didn't realize they were so young. And they have a highly rated class coming in for next year on top of it. In a word...yikes.

    Let's face it

    Royce is a true talent. Otherwise, the rest of our transfers were average at best or role players on their former teams. Throw in the fact that we don't have a PG and coaching is still a question mark, all this NCAA tourney run talk was completely premature. Not going to happen.
