    My immediate thought when I saw that was that he didn't get a lot of, well, nibbles in the market. Pure speculation. But a decent play on words. If I were Fish, I'd ask for a regular redshirt to go with his medical one because that is one deep front court that TJ and company have put together.

    Earthquake Rocks East Coast

    Well, I'm about 45 minutes away from the epicenter and my house shook like the Hilton after a go-ahead 3 against Kansas. It seemed like it lasted 15 seconds but maybe it was less. I've narrowly missed earthquakes while traveling, for example, so this was my first. No serious damage anywhere near us.

    I enjoyed them at the tournament in the Destin era (Niang-Monte-Naz-McKay year). Sat with a guy who really knew - and loved - his hoops. Of course, it's easier to like another team's fans when you are dusting them like we did. On the other hand, I found UAB fans to be some of the worst humans...

    My son - recently a HS athlete - says in his generation, some people would literally avoid "Adidas schools" b/c their stuff is uglier than Nike designs. I'm sure NIL and playing time are bigger factors in the transfer portal but ugly warm-ups / jam-jams may be a tiny motivator in a decision...
