Mine are heavily influenced by John Hughes. This is right up there, "If You Leave" by OMD (Pretty In Pink), "Try A Little Tenderness" by Otis Redding (same), "Twist & Shout" by the Beatles (Ferris Bueller).

A kind of obscure one. Danger zone used to remind me of Top Gun but now when I hear it I think of the plane scene in Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

I know this technically a tv show but hear won't get fooled again by the Who I immediately think CSI.

I know I have alot more but my brain needs to wake up a bit, Will come up with some more later.

Holy cow - I've never put that together. I've listened to Layla and seen Goodfellas way too many times to have missed this - quite the revelation this morning.
