I just found mine. If you hear a duck call from section 113, you know who it is.
Looked very consistent on ESPN+Anyone else feel like that was the best refereed dual we’ve had all season? Felt like he was very consistent

No ones perfect, but they did a good job. They reversed their own call on the MJ nearfall which was the correct call.Only 2 things I questioned were the one stall call on ISU and I thought Broderson maybe had one more TD.
They reviewed their own call and over turned it giving some well deserved back points. Mind blownAnyone else feel like that was the best refereed dual we’ve had all season? Felt like he was very consistent
I thought it was straight down the fairway. If all matches were called that way at nationals I’d be pretty happy.Only 2 things I questioned were the one stall call on ISU and I thought Broderson maybe had one more TD.
I talked to a Mizz parent and they don't understand the 125 forfeit. Sounds like there were parents and some fans that were in Columbia this morning and would of brought a 125 to Ames. Sounds like they didn't want to put in the effortWhat an absolute shame.
Don’t have a single guy to use at 125?
Smith didn't seem to get upset, maybe he didn't care.I thought it was straight down the fairway. If all matches were called that way at nationals I’d be pretty happy.
I’m sure he knew what he did.Smith didn't seem to get upset, maybe he didn't care.
What does ducking have to do with officiating?I’m sure he knew what he did.
Where can the casual wrestling fan go to get a wrestling 'box score'?
In basketball or football (baseball too), I can easily find and go to the box score, or stat page, to see the results. Does wrestling even have this? If so, why is it hard to find?
No 'box score" here:
CFTV: Dresser, Carr and Bastida talk 41-3 win over Missouri in final dual of the season
Photo Courtesy of Jacqueline Cordova / Cyclone Fanatic Head coach Kevin Dresser discussed the team win over Missouri, plus disappointing emotions in not wrestling their starting lineup. Plus, he broke down Bastida's dominant and Carr's final match. Carr shared the emotions around his final ducyclonefanatic.com
Be nice. I'd like to follow ISU wrestling more, but it's not easy for the casual fan.
MIZ-ZOU = bole shite oranges!!!I talked to a Mizz parent and they don't understand the 125 forfeit. Sounds like there were parents and some fans that were in Columbia this morning and would have brought a 125 to Ames. Sounds like they didn't want to put in the effort
My thought is it’s tough to argue about officiating when you know you’re ducking. All those stalls against them (totally legit though n my opinion) and not one argument. He knew he threw the meet. If they were his starters he would’ve been in the ears of the officials. What does ducking have to do with officiating?
7,013Anybody hear the official attendance?
not a wrestling fan but watched it today.I love this team and the crowd was amazing today. Scheman is packed too for the social. By far the most support I’ve seen for the Iowa State program and that might go back to even the Cael days. Incredible what Dresser has done both as a coach and marketer for the brand of wrestling we put out there. It’s fun and getting more and more casual Cyclone fans to buy in. Can’t wait for Tulsa and KC!
How was your experience?not a wrestling fan but watched it today.
It was good during the final Cael (as coach) years. Our student section for basketball is lame for a top 10 team, so we'll have to win some trophies before the casuals go to a wrestling meet.
