I loved the deepshot in the 4th. Iowa was acting like they deserved to be on the same field, finally managing to put some points on the board to make it look less like a blow-out.
The deep shot reminded them that Stanford stopped trying about halfway through the 2nd quarter.

Same. We were getting dangerously close to a moral victory being written about in dozens of Iowa papers.

Be proud, only the whole country was watching you guys get embarrassed.
But hey at least you "won the stands"
There was a competition for "can't stands them"?

It was Hayden-like, but I loved it. Tempered some of the 'we won the second half' crap.

Iowa twitter is so quiet tonight. It's fuggin great. They acted liked they had a top 5 team...pretenders. Probably not even top 25. Hard to tell with that weak *** schedule.

Yeah but they lost to Michigan State. That proved they were good.

Right, so their fans should be proud and happy with their season? An exact replica of the 2013 Buckeyes, a season and team that Hawkeye fans gave endless ****. It's pretty similar to our basketball season this last year. Again, a season and team that Hawkeye fans gave endless ****.

You're honestly suggesting that they don't pay Ferentz to win conference championships? That's what seasons are played for. Teams want to win conference championships and bowl games, if your team does neither then it's pretty clear that the season was unsuccessful. Easy example, look at Nebraska. Pelini lost his job because their seasons translated to nothing.
Without question. They pay KF to be bring success to their program. He did that to near historic levels this year.

Iowa is not Nebraska, and Peleni was not fired because he did not win the NC last year. Don't be so butthurt. Iowa had a great season and one that given their average team was a complete success.

I've been talking conference championships and bowl wins, which are both why Pelini was fired. A great season that doesn't accomplish any set end goals means nothing at the end of the day hence why people are already back on the "Fire Ferentz" bandwagon.

Butthurt? Grow up. You should probably step back and take a look at the realistic perspective of things. Programs don't list all of the years they were runner-ups in conference championships. No need to be so offended by it.
