Maybe he'll be different for football...sometimes I can't stand his screeching whenever he's commentating a basketball game. Just not one of my favorites, I guess.

I believe McCoy is going to question his reads in a noisy enviroment. I believe it will be UT with the turnover problem. UTwill commit more penalties, but less will be called on them. ISU has a more experienced O-line, two talented RB's, a very good QB, and WR's to throw too. ISU Defense has played well, but not created the turnovers this year as they have in the last two seasons. I see this changing with a very young QB, O-line and RB. ISU by 10.

I feel the same i have for every other game this season.. if we play as we are capable, no reason we dont beat Texas in Ames... after the Texas game is where our schedule starts to get dicey to me.

ISU wins 11-4

that would be a touchdown, a 2 point conversion, a field goal and two safeties.

What a game that would be. A&M drives early, gets bogged down at ISU's 40. Punts and pins ISU inside the 10 yard line and Jantz is caught running around for a safety. A&M drives a little and ISU takes over again inside the 15. A bad snap and the ball gets pushed out the back of the end zone while trying to recover. Finally in the 2nd, ISU puts a little drive together and at the half it is 4-3 A&M.

A&M and ISU play defense during the third. At the beginning of the 4th, ISU get a touchdown and goes for the 2 point conversion..

Sounds like the Nebraska game two years ago.

ISU wins 28-19. ISU gets an early two touchdown lead and the defense plays great in the redzone to hold Texas to four field goals and only one touchdown.

Gonna be honest, I have no idea what to expect out of this one. Which form of Steele Jantz shows up? How does a very unseasoned Case McCoy perform in his first Big 12 game?

Gut tells me that our little string of wins ends. This is the toughest team we've faced thus far. Their front 7 looks awfully tough and I think sustaining a running game could be a challenge.

TX 31
ISU 24

But it would not suprise me in the least to see ISU pull this one out. Can't forget that we got 'em last year in Austin, and we ARE a better team this year.

If we win the TO battle and keep the penalty yards under 60 yrds...we win.

If not we probably lose. It's a one-two score game either way though. This game will not be decided until the 4th qtr...if that is the case, I like our chances. Some of you predicting Texas in a blowout are high as ****.

Having 55,000 in a 90,000 seat stadium (where there were probably 15,000 Texas fans) is a lot different than a packed Jack.

If there would have only been 55,000 in the Rose Bowl instead of 101,437 you would have a point.

UCLA Bruins vs. Texas Longhorns - Box Score - September 25, 2010 - ESPN

With that said if Jantz comes out like he did against Iowa then ISU wins, if he comes out like he did against UConn this game won't be close. But playing at home he will be more comfortable and I don't think you will see what he did against UConn repeat itself therefore I think ISU will win 21-17 or 24-21 somewhere along there. I don't think it will be high scoring at all.

Now, given that you are an Iowa fan, I'm not surprised by this, but it is 2011, not 2010. I know you are having a forgettable year, but that is taking it too far.

Here's this years game:

How many points do you think the Texas band is worth? My dad will be driving them from the airport to the stadium... I'm not saying...just sayin.
