You don't get a great look at it there, but the shooter jumped forward at a pretty good angle into Kunc, while Kunc played it straight up. I saw it live from the side, it seemed like a good call.
Agree. That elbow swing could have been MMA. Saw it from behind the tech bench. I’d say the shooter was more interested in making contact to draw a foul than cleanly getting off a shot.

This game looked an awful lot like 47-37 win over Jackson state. Felt like TTU watched and learned from that tape more than ISU watched and learned from it. Hopefully you are right
Exactly.

Basically the Jackson St game with more athletes and allowed to continually foul. The last part is big.

Chicago St did similar things too.

We’re going to need to make some adjustments

Agree, Brockington absolutely made the right basketball play. Someone could theoretically try to make the argument that he just shouldn't ever pass the ball to GK because he's struggling so much, but that's a pretty rough assessment to make in the moment against your teammate, especially when he had the clear path to the basket.
he may have been looking to gat his teammate a gimme to help restart the positive shooting vibes

Agree

we need some adjustments when facing this defensive pressure, not sure what they are. We have a lack of guys that can beat you off the bounce. Hunter can and to some extent IB. I think that is how you best beat this defense. You would think back cuts, but not easy with their length and help defense. I said it before and will repeat it - we played ourselves. TT - Tough Defensive minded team that struggles offensively. Those two chemistries make for the game we got.

Enaruna is looking much better. He's not that big though for his height. Won't be a push you around kind of player. Idk what the answer is when the refs allow as much contact as they did.

You don’t need to say a lot just one word could do the trick if it’s directed at someone. Which is why I was confused because it seemed like he never said anything at one of our players.

He said something directly to Jaz. I could see it clearly from my seats, but couldn't hear what he said.

must have been a different player but I remember we doubled smart near half court got an elbow to the face and got called for cylinder foul.

You have to have video proof or it didn't happen. That's what I've been told.

No idea what this is about. Do tell.
Okay, here we go. Have to be careful. Used to have season tickets at Pan Am in Texas. It was a fun program to follow and was known for sending Luke Jackson to the NBA and Abe Lemons coached there at one time. Adams took over a sagging program and turned things around. However, towards the end of his tenure, there was a situation with one of his assistants and a test that was submitted. Turns out the player's name was misspelled on the test so questions swirled around that. So Adams was in hot water and actually secretly taped a conversation with the athletic director at the time, who was a good guy. This came out in the media. There were also some unpleasant interactions with the SID and the publicity surrounding all this. The SID was a very good person who did not deserve to be leaned on. Long, long story short, Adams moved on and found his way to Lubbock (he is a Texas Tech grad) and actually ran a minor league hockey franchise there for a time and even got into hot water with the rules there. Later, he moved on to Howard JC in Texas and did his usual good on-floor coaching job there (NBAer Jae Crowder was a player). I watched them win the juco title in Hutchinson, Kansas. Then, Adams scored an assistant's job at Tech and moved to the head man's seat after Coach Beard's departure to Texas. I have always been very disturbed about his interactions with people that I respected and, when he comes into Hilton, I do not want to see him have success. I have pitched this to some journalists in Texas and have not gotten anywhere. I have voluminous files and have somehow misplaced some of this information. You have to be extremely careful, certainly with stories about millionaires.
