A good roasting well earned. And it wasn't just opinion; it was based on a LOT of facts and percentages. Really highlights the loss of Purdy, Hall and Kolar - key players that have not been replaced.
Most of the things pointed out are exactly what has been covered here ad nauseum - too many short routes, lack of any vertical game, anemic pass-blocking, and no use of HD's running ability - the lack of creativity by the OC. Woof! Painful, but not unexpected by anyone who has been watching with their eyes open.

Is that true - "Hunter Dekkers is completing 60% of his deep shots on throws of 15 or more yards, which is highest in the league". lol

That may be why fans are clamoring for a more vertical offense. Wow.
I would say that is accurate. Also I dont think he has thrown a single one in 2 games. Not sure there has been a single route run of more than 10 yards, and few of even 10.

Which is why a lot are upset. Yes.

I don't know if you are trying to be funny, ISU has used HD's running ability too much and it hasn't been pretty. Excellent video pointing out ISU's problems.

A sophisticated breakdown. We don't get much of that in our local coverage. Definitely some tough love for the Cyclone OL, but he also did not hold back on his admiration of the Heacock D.
As much as the offense has struggled, I think the 14 points is way too many. Texas would have to shut out ISU to beat that spread. They are full of themselves down there, but this league is defense first. Until you've played ISU, Baylor, K-State, or Kansas, you haven't played anybody yet. Texas defense is right up there, too. But their offense has yet to be baptized in this league, and I think it will be a low scoring affair, maybe 17-10.

It's completely fair. Our tight ends last year were able to block the ends well, which seems to be where a lot of our sacks come from this year. As great as Kolar was at catching passes, he was a very underrated blocker as well. Allen and Soehner (I know he didn't play last year) were great blockers that gave us solid protection. We don't have that this year and it's hurting us a ton.

Stats show 42 rushing attempts by Hunter, and 14 of those were actually sacks, and I'd bet that another 10 (at least) were runs that were attempts to avoid a sack. Running on purpose hasn't happened enough, and I don't think we've had many designed rollouts that could shift the pocket for him and give him different opportunities and options. It has mostly been stay still while the pocket collapses, and then take off too late. I think we could buy him a second or two by moving the pocket from time to time.

Purdy, Hall, and Kolar weren’t any better last year…. it wasn’t a good year. Purdy didn’t throw deep either.

This is a Manning problem, not the players.

Hall was a much better back than our Eva this year and we had both Kolar and Allen who are in the pros now and our current TE room doesn’t look like anyone will sniff the pros. Those groups aren’t even close to last years production. AND having two really good TEs last year allowed us to run block better as we had more bodies in the box that were serviceable blockers. There’s a huge difference between last year and this year.

Huh. Harsh but fair. That’s some pretty good analysis.

I expected your typical dumb youtube video but that was great.

Pretty much summarizes what a lot here are saying, but with some stats to back things up.

This video was impressive. This is data I've hoped would be put out of the premium membership here. This guy was honest, objective, consistently used data to back his opinions, and put together an awesome production. He was able to succinctly quantify many of observations of failure mentioned on this board. I hope @ChrisMWilliams can get this guy on one of the pods.
