You do realize the Big 12's exit fee/buy-out is already larger than the ACC's, right? Most folks were predicting A&M's exit fee would be around $28 million, which I believe is 80-90% of this year and next year's TV fees they would have received.

I still don't get how A&M is affording the Big 12 exit fee. No matter what happens, screw those bastards--make them pay every cent of what is owed. For all of this drama, stress, lost recruits etc. One could say our settlement with Nebraska and Colorado emboldened A&M to think they could get...

if we could add one that would be perfect, but I think we'll all love the 10 team format 5 years from now.

Hmm, looks like they happened to guess right though since the SEC spokesman made a statement about 45 minutes after that tweet saying they had issued no other invitations.

Based off the fact that 3 out of every 4 commercials on the BTN were for Rotel, I don't think they get hardly anything for ad revenue. Just a guess. You also need to account for whatever provider we partner with to create the network, they need to profit too. Fox half owns the BTN for example.

That just screams an intentional leak to pressure Texas into going. honestly. This has become a huge chess/******* match and its absolutely disgusting.

Does anybody know anything about the exit fees and disbanding the conference? In terms of, do schools still get a vote if they've already told us they're leaving(texas a&m)? What happens if this blows up the league, and theres no league left to collect the exit fees? My guess if there are...

When do school's have to make a decision by if they want to be in a different conference by next year? The longer this goes on, the harder its going to be for everybody involved in terms of scheduling.

As I've said before, ISU, Missouri, Kansas, KState and Baylor at the minimum need to keep the shell of the conference together for at least 2 more seasons. Collect the exit fees and have a season or two of BCS qualification for a school that might not otherwise have a chance. The more I think...
