    Huh? Anyway, McDermott was hired three seasons after the LE scandal...the necessary rebuilding process would have been then. This "rebuilding" period was essentially created by Pollard. .

    I agree. Stinson and Blalock must have had ESP to know where the other was on the court at all times. All the behind the back passes, no looks, and steals leading to fast breaks sure were entertaining. And cant forget Blalocks reverse dunks and Clark throwing down. Definitely good times..

    The reason we have scoring droughts is because we run no offense. I realize no one here likes the Lickliter comparisons, but sometimes it helps with perspective. Even with a crappy team and a first-year coach, you can definitely see their offense moving around, running plays, setting (moving)...

    Questioning progress is not the same thing as "bashing the coach". I see a few ominous signs. We cant seem to win on the road. We are getting outscored in the second half and cant seem to hold a lead. And we have a ton of player turnover--and consequently this years team is worse than last...

    I agree. We can talk about next year all we want, but being a Big XII doormat while watching a team like Nebraska knock off consecutive ranked teams (one on the road!) is really tough to stomach..

    Absolutely. Really cant underestimate the loss of our two best rebounders on a team that doesnt seem to rebound well in the first place.
