Wow, I was married in Mapleton and have relatives in the area.

Sounds bad there. I survived the big 1986 tornado in that general area...it's scary stuff.

Listening into Sac and surrounding counties sherrifs and such...not sure which county but another larger tornado was just reported on the ground, all they said was county road M-43

Weather channel just showed pictures from mapleton, looked like parkersburg almost.

One of the tornadoes in Sac county was reported by Reed Timmer to be close to a mile wide.

My wife has two great-aunts and a great-uncle in Early. My in-laws were planning to go up there tomorrow (for a second my wife couldn't remember if they were there today). It sounds like Early took a direct hit a few minutes ago...

I am I correct in looking at the map and concluding this is losing power. At least the west side it anyway. That part is coming right at me.
