The problem is PR has led us into this "valley". The trend is downward and recruiting has been an issue despite better records in the past. PR has a mighty tough sell to fans and recruits that despite leading us into a box canyon, he is the man to lead us out. JP has become a banker who has loaned a farmer more money than the farm is worth. JP and PR have become inseparable partners on this hike and JP is ready to follow PR right off the cliff. JP has no choice and they both should be gone. Nebraska lets Bo go in the search to find the coach who will get them to the peak. ISU is stumbling around in the valley and no one even wants to talk about the peak. We know where Nebraska wants to go. What is the message to the football world about where ISU wants to go??
Nebraska is delusional. Firing a coach and hiring another as a replacement does not guarantee success. And the coach that Nebraska just hired has had success and failures very similar to our own CPR. The reason Nebraska fired Pelini had to do with his abrasive personality. They just did not like the guy.
We are entering the home stretch as far as getting some of the help we need for our defense next year.
Both Nebraska and Kansas replaced their coaches. Do you think those were great hires? Do you think that they will have massive improvement?
You say that JP needs to go. I disagree. I also believe that CPR gets at least next year and then make an assessment then. So I agree with JP there.
You sound like another reactionary fan who thinks that cleaning house makes everything better. That is not how it works.
