I like Boozer and understand he is a fan favorite, but people need to calm down. IF, and its a big if, he is leaving...we are losing a guy that plays 8 minutes per game and scores 2.5 and rebounds 1.6. Yes he hustled and definitely helps the team but please don't act like the sky is falling because we are losing the 8th or 9th guy off the bench.

It's the principle behind it. I'm not saying it will impact us from a W and L standpoint.

I think the message it sends to recruits is that if you work hard you could still get run off the team.

From what I read, I thought Boozer was ok with a role of coming off the bench. I don't think he's looking to be a star. It just sounds like if he's gone it's because the coaching staff didn't appreciate what he brought to the program.

Typically coaches respect players that work hard, regardless of their limitations, as it helps guys get ready during practice. If you talk to a lot of coaches across various sports, often times they're favorite player they coached wasn't necessarily the star on the team.

That's my problem.

So basically your problem is the player isn't quite good enough to earn more minutes but because he hustles and tries really hard, he should get some charity minutes?

This isn't little league...everyone doesn't get to play the same amount.

My problem is that if you're offered a scholarship to be part of a program, and you work hard, you shouldn't feel pressure from the coaching staff to leave.

This is NOT about minutes. How many times do I have to post, that my complaints are NOT about how many minutes Boozer was getting???

But there isn't any known pressure to leave. The whole criticism of McDermott was based on a hypothetical that hasn't happened. How many times do i have to post that?

Can you say for sure that he was getting pressured by the staff to leave though?

Well obviously minutes are important to boozer, so he feels he might find more else where. Whats the coaching staff suppose to do about that if they feel there is a better player ahead of him?

Well, I just felt like blowing up. Having a ****** day and probably overreacted, but I don't care.

I think it's funny that this was originally a website about firing a coach, but if I complain about our coach now, everyone rips......

I just felt like we were due for another meltdown....

Charles is very fun to watch. While i do not feel he should be in the starting 5, he did bring up the intensity when he was on the court. With a better team, maybe he performs better. For the minutes I watched while he was in there, we were behind and not catching up. Showing heart and determination in those situations shows me his true nature. If he is leaving I wish him the best. If he stays, I hope to see him in more minutes that matter. Sometimes you need a guy like that to break loose from a rut.

Boozer should play because he works his butt off and does the little things right. He plays D and rebounds, You need at least one Charlos Boozer or Bryan Peterson to play on every good team. Our problem last year was we had 3 or 4 of those type of guys. This year we won't. Lets go dancin'.
