ESPN's analysis of Niang says that he has a soft body and lacks conditioning. Says he'll probably never be able to contribute more than 25 minutes a game in college. Not really the kind of player that you'd think would fit in with our running style?
However... ESPN also thinks Elgin Cook is still coming to ISU... so take their word with a grain of salt.
Also, Niang says he wants to play Freddy ball and also says he wants to work hard on his conditioning and his strength. I'll take him at his word. Because we're going to be running and gunning Georges!
ESPN actually says "may" never play more than 25 minutes. 'probably' would suggest in all likelihood, but 'may' suggests it could go either way. And from the sounds of his interviews he knows this is a weakness and is prepared to work on it.
My hope is that outside of one or maybe two game changers per year, we don't have many guys playing more than 25 minutes.

I wouldn't put much stock into anything recruiting related on ESPN, they have a tendency to not keep up to date.
This may give you a more up to date idea on how he plays:
GEORGES NIANG CONTINUES TO PRODUCE AGAINST ALL COMPETITION; RECRUITMENT HEATING UP | NBE Basketball Report
The players that Niang tore up are ranked #11 and #13 in the country and are going to Duke and the other probably to UNC. He has shown he can play and play at a high level. This is a HUGE pickup. HUGE
Who is Aaron Law? Niang's twitter also says:
"chilling in the Comp lab with the iowa state committ @TheresOnly1ALow #cyclonelove"
Any word on this guy?
