cigarettes were cheap down south. I remember going to kentucky, $2.25 a pack a couple years ago, tennessee was 3 something. Put it to 8 bucks and more people would quit
Sure, but they won't do that. They will tack on to that based price. Think what you want but the government can use tobacco. If they price it higher than demand allows people won't buy it and they will have to back off. I don't necessarily disagree with that though because it is a persons fault they got addicted. I'm sorry but people can quit if they want to. I have seen it many times.
