Survive and move on.
The team will learn a lot from this gutty win.
The team will learn a lot from this gutty win.
Which means we should be able to finish about 6-12 or 7-11 in this thingAs brutal of a win is that was, I still feel confident that that short handed Tech team is probably no worse than a full strength Iowa or Memphis team.
That was an amazing play by Jazz. He established his position beautifully before the shot went up.Yeah, I'd like to see all the calls where that goes against Jaz. No clue what the commentator was talking about.
Maybe 20 years ago that's a no call. That's called on the offensive player 99.99% of the time these days.
Agree, Brockington, Hunter and Jackson have to make a point of driving to the basket when our offense is stalled. I'm not sure anyone else has a good enough handle.ball toughness is missing big time. we are timid tonight for some reason.
idk... these teams are gonna be wore out. unlike a team like Duke or Gonzaga which are gonna cake walk into being 1 seeds.Iron sharpens Iron, and that’s what Big 12 conference play will be like. I can almost guarantee March Madness’ winner will come from this conference.
thst was flagrant, intentional too, cheap play
Some adjustments need to happen on offense. Teams have scouted us now and know how to defend us. Conditt or jazz handling the passing duties at the top of the key is just not working
As ugly as that was, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a game where an undermanned team like that doesn’t play well. Something to be said for being able to play with nothing to lose.
Sean Sutton… woof
I still think we do. Wins will be had against OSU, KSU, and TCU. Sure there will be ugly ones, but I trust this team to gut out some wins to get to at least 7-11.Which means we should be able to finish about 6-12 or 7-11 in this thing
I think the return game in Lubbock could be really ugly for our guysYeesh, when Tech gets their top 2 scores back, they are going to be really tough for anyone in the conference to beat. Props to TTU for nearly pulling out a short-handed W tonight.
Not the most flattering camera angle for Gabe Kalscheur.
He’s not in a slump. When your bad shooting nights far outweigh your good shooting nights, your just not a good offensive player. He shoots barely above 30% from the field and barely above 20% from three.
I prefer to look at it as a 1-0 baseball game with 2 amazing pitchers battling each other. That game set back college basketball about 20 years. If you had told someone after watching it, that the two teams were ranked #11 and #25 in the nation, no one would believe you.
It's a conference win, but man, was it ugly to watch.
There were players open down the court on one of those plays, the inbounder just didn't have the balls to throw it. Sometimes it's the execution of the players that's the problem, not the coach.the out-of-bounds plays drawn up--full-court or under the basket, were magnificent under Hoiberg
TJ?
~ into the coffin-corner, or to a player straddling the sideline. We get trapped immediately
come on TJ !!
We need Gabe, he's solid defensively and makes FTs. He just needs to reduce his role when it comes to ball handling. We also need him to soak up some minutes as we are not the deepest team.Might be time to make a difficult decision with Gabe..
