Kasongo played spot minutes at Tennessee when Jacobsen was starting at Nebraska. I think the difference between the two is significant, and I'd be surprised if Jacobsen didn't have multiple high-major options.
With this springs recruiting class, IMO the coaching staff is trying to fill position needs, but also try to keep 3 scholarships available for next falls recruiting class. Based on internet reports they have put in a lot of time with guys like Thompson, Green, etc to only have 1 or 2 scholarships available next fall.
The coaches are working through a pecking order of non-grad transfers at PF: 1) Juiston 2) Morrow 3) Secret JUCO 4) Jacobson (?)/etc.
IMO if Beverly wants to come to ISU, he's got a scholarship. If Brown doesn't come to ISU, then I could see us banking a scholarship. If we do bring in 3 Jr. Eligible Transfer this spring, then I think the staff has a plan for someone like Kosango (graduates next spring) or Jakolby.
