    Big 12 Expansion (new thread)

My fault. Did a quick search at the top of the site.

    Big 12 Expansion (new thread)

SIAP but did not see this anywhere on CF. TLDR but check out page 9. Round 2 contenders = service academies, Tulane, Rice, USF, Temple, SMU. Keep in mind this analysis is based on a number of factors beyond just football. http://books.altimorecollins.com/sicem365/ As I posted before I love the...

    Big 12 Statement 9.1.2021

This is a good post. I have read similar things on other sites. Perhaps wishful thinking that CSU and others would grow within a bigger conference. I date back to the old Big 8. The current Big 12 ever since the last round of defections and the add of WVU has felt very ‘forced’ and not like a...

    Big 12 Statement 9.1.2021

It feels like a Rube Goldberg contraption. I am thankful though that it isn’t Boise.

    Big 12 Statement 9.1.2021

Same here. BYU is a good pick. Cincinnati makes sense pairing with WVU. Would much rather go CSU and Air Force than Houston and UCF. UCF makes no sense geographically. Need to rebuild the conference with some common identity and purpose.

    Big 12 Statement 9.1.2021

Posted this in the other thread. Really hope that the service academies are getting consideration. Would be great additions for academics and add some historic rivalry games. Would go to 14 with them, BYU, CSU, and New Mexico. Conference would have somewhat decent geographic coherence, good...

    Big 12 Statement 9.1.2021

Could it be possible that OU and UT leaving is at least partially a blessing in disguise? Perhaps the conference gets rebuilt on a much more equal basis giving ISU an opportunity to grow even further in the major sports? There is going to be a major hit financially but from a competitive...

Expansion candidates that made the cut in 2016

Really hope that the service academies are getting consideration. Would be great additions for academics and add some historic rivalry games. Would go to 14 with them, BYU, CSU, and New Mexico. Conference would have somewhat decent geographic coherence, good academics, and a chance to solidify...

If the B12 remains intact and moves forward

This is a great post. Sincerely hope the service academies are in the mix. I would go BYU and the academies to get to 12. If 14, then I would go CSU and New Mexico. No city schools, no directional schools. Try to get some semblance of geographic coherence and provide an academic boost as well.

    Cyclone warmup jacket.

That's what I was wondering. Those were great looking jackets and was hoping to snag one if I had the chance.

    Cyclone warmup jacket.

Thanks. Tried there and no luck unfortunately. Wonder if maybe those were specially made for the team and not available to the public?

    Cyclone warmup jacket.

Anyone know where you can purchase a warmup jacket like the men's team wears? I've searched all of the regular sites like Sports Authority and Amazon without success. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

*****The Super, Mega, Huge Big 12 Expansion Thread*****

Yes, this is exactly right. I want UC, UL, UCONN, and Rutgers and heck, I wouldn't mind going to 16. Strength in numbers in case UT or OU start getting twitchy again. BTW - looks like the B1G is standing at 12 (probably only exception will be ND) Delany, Big Ten not thinking big - College...

*****The Super, Mega, Huge Big 12 Expansion Thread*****

Saw something today that said VA Tech would be a target. Geographically that move would make total sense. If that would happen, then I think that the ACC would look at Rutgers and/or UCONN to fill the gap. Since the Big 12 has already gone east with WVU, I think we should go ahead and expand...

I might be the only one, but I find this subject truly fascinating  BTW - it's official, BYU is not going to the Big East. I still think this whole mess has a ways to go before things finally settle down. AP source: BYU, Big East end negotiations - FM News 101.1 - Chicago
