Hopefully Lindell is around for more than one year...

Part of me is ready for our seniors to graduate and for these guys to get here so I can stop having expectations and being disappointed.

Having expectations crushed and disappointment is part of fandom. I am sure next year, when the seniors are gone, it will happen again too.

Same goes for Wigginton IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I am excited about our incoming recruits too, but any koolaid parties and hype train invites make me weary too.

The key to happiness is setting lower expectations.....less chance for disappointment.

I would hope you need not worry about fans setting unfair high expectations. Vision the two bottoms teams, OU & Texas, who play lots of freshmen & sophomores. That will be us next year. We better take your approach and patiently enjoy the ride.

At the level Big 12 plays at and the upward trend, might as well just put all 10 in the dance next year.

That may be the the key to YOUR happiness. I think I've been on the planet long enough to know the difference but point well taken.

Darius McNeill had a big night in his team's district championship game...

@brianparadis: Westfield beat Dekaney 82-69 to win 16-6A. Darius Mcneill 30p, Jase Febres 20p, Kobe Shorter 13p, DeMarcus Morris 12 p. #Top100Talent

By his tweets he seems pretty excited to be a Cyclone.
