    Discriminatory language may be explicit, but it can also be coded (a la "thug" with regard to race; or "family values" with regard to sexual orientation).

    Agreed. In isolation, this rather significant late season 3-weight shifting might cause a cocked eyebrow but not set off major alarms. But it is not isolated.

    We should not overestimate the talent currently on the team. We have a weak oline, a mediocre at best quarterback, and a receiving corps that has never lived up to hype. Defense is similar, with a couple real players but overall talent (and skills) low. Campbell makes this season a success...

    Nice for Pestano to get a shot after a strong season. Willing to see how it shakes out for the wrestlers. As a commentary on coaching, well, I guess disorganization can be considered a leadership style.

    I wouldn't be too upset to see Pestano wrestle out the remainder of the season. Downey's question mark looms bigger with each passing day. Its nice that Dane is such a pleasant surprise.

    Maybe its time to let Boston go to 133 and prepare for next year. 125 for him feels like a losing battle. I think Larson can be a qualifier, and maybe win 1 or 2.

    Feel like it was mostly bad luck rather than malicious, but you cannot put a guy into the scorer's table. Clearly the Ohio guy was shaken and couldn't continue at the same level as before. Right call.
