    So I was looking at old stats and Houstons coach "Tom Herman" used to be our OC? Why didnt we hire him when Rhodes got fired? IMO he would be a terrific head coach here.     Matt Thomas vs. Chicago State

    As president of the Official Matt Thomas Fan Club, it is my duty to note that Matt had another really nice game. 9 points (3-7 shooting, 2-4 from deep), 11 rebounds (holy crap) and 4 assists. 9/11/4 is a great statline for a 6th man, especially a guard. Give Matt minutes and he'll produce.

    Matt Thomas vs. Grand Valley State

    Thomas finished with 12 points, 8 assists(!!!), and 5 rebounds, I believe. Looked much more aggressive than the Matt Thomas we're used to seeing. If he can be a reliable option off the bench I really think this team can do some serious damage.
